I've listend to this song many times, but I didn't realize it has the sad lyric.
But I wish I were this woman because she has been to so many places...
I had never heard this song before. I guess I don't really know anything about Charlene. Is she popular? Do many students know about her?
Charlene has a very beautiful voice for ballads (which is what this song is). Her singing style is not really my style, but she really does have a beautiful voice, so the song is more beautiful simply because of her strong vocals.

I think this is a sad song because the singer is talking about her many regrets, so even though she has been many places, her life is still tragic.
Since I had never heard this song before, it is new to me (completely).
